These terms apply to this website operated for Denmark Senior High School, a Western Australian public school within the Department of Education. SchoolWeb supplies the website software but does not own or operate the School.
1. Application
By accessing or using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and consistently with these terms. Additional conditions may apply to particular services, including authenticated portals, events, forms, payments and third-party services. If additional conditions conflict with these general terms, the service-specific conditions apply to that service.
These website terms do not replace legislation, Department policies, enrolment requirements, school policies, permissions, contracts or any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Information and general disclaimer
Website information is published in good faith as a public service. The School takes reasonable care to keep it accurate and current, but information may change and may contain errors or omissions. Confirm time-sensitive, safety-critical, enrolment, assessment, financial or policy information directly with the School or the relevant official source before relying on it.
To the extent permitted by law, the State of Western Australia, the Minister for Education, the Department, the School and their officers, employees and agents do not accept liability for loss arising solely from reliance on inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date website information. Nothing in these terms excludes a right, guarantee or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use this website to:
- break any law or infringe another person’s rights, privacy or intellectual property;
- upload malicious code, interfere with security, probe for vulnerabilities or disrupt the website or another user;
- attempt to access an account, record, function or information without authority;
- submit information that is false, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory or otherwise unlawful;
- impersonate another person or misuse a student’s, parent’s or staff member’s identity; or
- scrape, copy or use website content at scale in a way that is unlawful, unreasonable or harmful to the School or its community.
The School may restrict or suspend access, remove unlawful or unsafe material, preserve relevant records and refer suspected misconduct where reasonably necessary.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity performed through your account, except to the extent the activity results from a failure by the School or its provider. Do not share credentials or leave an authenticated device unattended. Notify the School promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, loss of a device or compromise of an account.
5. Forms, communications and records
Submitting an online form or message does not guarantee approval, enrolment, registration, a booking or another outcome. A submission is complete only when the School confirms it where confirmation is required. Keep any receipt or reference number and contact the School if an expected confirmation is not received.
Electronic submissions and communications may become government or school records and may be retained under applicable recordkeeping requirements. Do not submit unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
6. Payments, orders and refunds
Prices, availability, payment timing, cancellations and refunds are governed by the information and conditions shown for the relevant canteen item, event, ticket, form or other service. Payment processing may be provided by a third party under its own terms. Contact the School about an incorrect charge or service-specific refund.
7. Copyright and permitted use
Copyright in material on this website is owned by the State of Western Australia or the identified copyright owner. Some Department material may be available under a Creative Commons licence where expressly stated. You must comply with the licence and retain required attribution.
School and Department logos, government insignia, trade marks, student photographs, recordings, student work and third-party material are not made available for reuse merely because they appear on this website.
