Country Senior High Schools Week is available to all Senior High Schools and previous participants as an annual event for country schools to participate in Basketball, Dance, AFL Football [B&G], Hockey, Indoor Cricket, Netball, Soccer, Speech & Debating, Touch and Volleyball during the final week of term 2 each year.
Denmark SHS has been competing at Country Week for many years and most recently in 2024 a team of 79 students represented the school in Basketball, Netball, Soccer, Speech & Debate and Volleyball.
In order to attend Country Week, students must:
- have good standing
- comply with the training requirements
- comply with school attendance requirements
- have paid, in full, their Country Week charges
- present as healthy on the day of departure
All participating students will sign a contract committing to these conditions. It is important all parents are aware that, like previous years, adhering to this contract is an important stipulation of going to Country Week.
