Year 7/8 AFL carnival: boys go back-to-back, girls impress

Denmark SHS recently took a fantastic Year 7/8 side to the regional AFL carnival — and our boys have done it again, bringing home the championship trophy and defending the title they won back in Term 2!

From the first bounce to the final siren, the boys played with incredible skill and sportsmanship, proving they are the team to beat.

Meanwhile, our girls put on an awesome performance out on the oval, showing immense determination, teamwork, and having a brilliant day out. Leaders of the Pack A massive shoutout goes to our incredible students in Years 9, 10, and 12 who stepped up to volunteer as coaches and umpires all day long.

Special mention goes to the students in Years 9, 10 and 12 who volunteered as coaches and umpires for the day. The carnival does not run without them, and they were terrific.

A Denmark SHS team huddle with student coaches and a whiteboardOlder students ran the coaching all day.

LEGENDS EVERY ONE OF THEM!
